Stokers

Stokers are designed for burning fine fractions of hard coal in the form of travelling beds, in all types of water and steam boilers. The capacity can be adjusted by changing the thickness of the fuel bed or by varying the speed of surface travel as well as by adjusting the amount of air supply.

Stokers designed and manufaktured by FPM S.A. are characterised by:

• increased life;
• uniform distribution of the primary air volume over the entire width of the grate;
• controlled burning process with a minimum excess of air in the subsequent stages of coal burning along the grate;
• reduction of the exhaust loss and loss of incomplete burning;
• increasing, even up to 97% of firing efficiency;
• reduction of NOx, CO emissions.

The stokers are manufactured based on our own technical documentation.

To date, FPM S.A. has manufactured and delivered to its customers more than 9278 stokers.
