Bowl and roller mills

Bowl and roller mills are machines designed for grinding (pulverising), drying and
classifying grains of brittle raw materials, such as:

• hard coal;
• limestone;
• lime and others.

Bowl and roller mills are used in the power engineering industry, cement and lime processing, chemical works etc.

The bowl and roller mills are a part of the group of crushing mills, in which the grinding process takes place by crushing and grinding the material between grinding elements – a bowl and rolls. Depending on the type of ground material and the quality of milling, the yields obtained, depending on the size of the mill, can vary from several to several dozen tons per hour.

The bowl and roller mills, thanks to their design, are highly reliable devices with high availability, and the use of hydraulic pressure and lubrication systems ensures full automation. The bowl and roller mills have a structure resistant to presence in hard inclusions in the material and are suitable for grinding hard and erosive materials. The bowl and roller mills use drives meeting the relevant noise emission standards.

To date, FPM S.A. has produced and delivered to Polish and foreign customers more than 69 of bowl and roller mills.
